This project was done collaboratively with other graphic design students at BGSU; each of us was given a letter from the alphabet and had to find a term starting with that letter pertaining to the topic of climate change. We then had to create icons for our terms that became a cohesive set. These icons were then used to create a decodable icon alphabet set that the visitors of the installation could use to decode messages about climate change. Below are the icons I designed for the letters B and T, Biofuel and Thermal Expansion, and below are images of the whole set in action at the Imagination Station in Toledo, Ohio.

In February of 2018 the BGSU graphic design students were awarded a Bronze Student Addy Award for “Sign of the Times” at the 2018 AAF Toledo ADDY Awards.
